Complementary Colors

When choosing your granite kitchen countertops or any other stone countertop, it is important to choose ones with colors that complement your cabinetry. Go for a contrasting color for a beautiful, eye-catching look.

At Minneapolis Granite, we offer a huge selection of colors and patterns. We offer reds, oranges, purples, beiges, greens, grays and blends of these color patterns. For one, quartz countertops allow for a variety of edging options, just like natural stone. Unlike stone, however, engineered quartz also offers other design possibilities. Because of the way quartz countertops are manufactured, it has a uniform look that’s sleek and impressive.

The biggest reason for the recent surge in quartz’s popularity can likely be traced to advances in the man-made stone’s aesthetic. Quartz kitchen countertops now come in a multitude of styles with slabs that come with swirls and unique patterns that make them almost indistinguishable from the natural stone varieties. Coming in many colors and patterns, you are sure to find the quartz countertops to match your unique home.
Quartz countertops are also extremely low maintenance. Quartz is a very hard material that’s both stain and scratch resistant. Stains, mold and odor-causing bacteria can’t penetrate quartz’s surface due to its non-porous nature, making it perfect for the kitchen, bathroom and other rooms in the home.

You can think outside of the box when it comes to quartz countertops! They are so versatile and come in such a wide variety of styles, they can be made to act as any surface you need it to! Bathrooms, bar tops, kitchen accents, kitchen carts, coffee tables, you name it! With so many colors and styles to choose from, why not act now? The design possibilities are endless!

Quartz countertops are also comparable to granite and other natural stone in price. And, like their natural counterparts, they won’t sacrifice on style. If your home is in need of a lot of countertop space, quartz just might be the material for you.

And these are just a few of the reasons quartz countertops have become such a huge contender on the design scene!
